This past month we have provided 10 starter packs to vulnerable families in our community. We have seen an amazing response to our Facebook posts particularly when communicating the items we’re low on, enabling gaps in our store room to be filled. The amount of generosity and support we receive never ceases to amaze me. I have had some great conversations with some of our health professionals this past month who express their gratitude for what we’re doing, and how emotional the families can be when they receive their pack. This is truly what it’s all about. Whilst you might not get to see the mums, meet the professionals let me assure you that what we are doing as a community is making a huge difference and impacting so many. We are showing these families the true love of Jesus. Since launching in 2016 we have helped over 130 families which is incredible and the project is growing all the time. So do keep praying, do keep giving because it is making a difference.
We do have some shortages in our supplies at the moment so if your able to contribute to any of the following we’d be most grateful.
· Knitted cardigans – sized newborn/0-3 months (particularly for boys), Size 1 nappies, Baby shampoo, Baby wash, Baby lotion, Baby towels , Muslins.
Thank you for your continued support and prayers. Lisa
